Aethon Projects Nig. Ltd was commissioned by the Enugu State Ministry of Trade and Investment to design a Smart Market as part of the government’s initiative to promote organized commercial spaces and eliminate roadside trading.
The project aims to provide a safe, modern, and efficient marketplace that supports small-scale traders while improving urban order and accessibility.

Scope:
Following an official engagement through Commission Letter EMTII/HC/VOL.181, Aethon Projects was appointed as the Project Architect responsible for:
- • Concept design and architectural documentation
- • Development of site layout and facilities
- • Coordination of supporting consultants
- • Delivery of all design documentation in line with state requirements
- • Non-slip floor tiles and emulsion wall finishes

- • Built-up area: approximately 800 sqm
- • Over 50 trading stalls and 18 enclosed shops
- • Automated entrance gate and gatehouse
- • Administrative unit and public convenience
- • Parking spaces, green areas, and waste disposal unit
